The application process is now closed for British Columbia elementary schools interested in receiving the
Healthy Buddies
™
Program under the Current Project & Provincial Health Services Authority grant.
Receiving the Program
If you are interested in receiving the
Healthy Buddies
™
School-Based Health Promotion Program outside of our Current Project, please contact us. Funding opportunities and sponsorship are currently being explored by the
Healthy Buddies
™
Team, so we encourage all those interested in receiving the Program to let us know.

Ordering the Program
Program Resources will be available for purchase
Spring/Summer 2008
,
in time for implementation in the 2008/2009 school year! A comprehensive training DVD is in production. This DVD will compliment the Program Resources and permit schools to receive training on the Program and its delivery, even if they cannot cover the costs of in-serviced training by one of our team members. Currently the Program is only available in English.
Program Games
Based on expressed interest, we are in the process of packaging the
Healthy Buddies
™
Program Games for individual sale. There will be a Home Edition for parents/caregivers and a Classroom Edition for teachers. These games are included in the Program Resources, so a teacher or administrator ordering the
Healthy Buddies
™
School-Based Health Promotion Program does
not
need to also order the Classroom Edition of the Games. The
Healthy Buddies
™
Program Games are a fun and economical way to increase healthy living knowledge and build capacity for health promotion in your children and your students!
