Referrals
Since we provide an in-depth evaluation rather than an initial psychiatric opinion, referrals must come from the psychiatric care provider (in the community) who has assessed the patient and who will assume responsibility for his or her care upon discharge. To initiate the intake process, contact the child and youth coordinator at your local mental health centre.
Our program is not suitable for adolescents whose primary problems are severe behaviour disorders, substance abuse or eating disorders.
