This easy-to-read parenting guide gives an overview of anxiety and good common sense strategies for parents assist their children to cope with it.
Rapee, Ronald. M ( 1996). Helping Your Anxious Child, and (for professionals) Treating Anxious Children and Adolescents.
Dr. Rapee has done considerable research on anxiety and social phobia. His approach has been used as the basis of the "Friends Program", an anxiety management program that is being taught in BC elementary schools (usually Grade 4) in Personal Planning.
