Programs & services

These are the programs and services offered at Children’s and the Sunny Hill Centre for Children:
Training and outreach

The Child and Youth Mental Health Program is an academic teaching centre for the University of British Columbia (UBC). Patients and their families may be involved in teaching and research programs as part of their general care.

With the help of the Co-operative University Provincial Psychiatric Liaison (CUPPL), Children’s provides psychiatric outreach to 21 communities across BC. The program has a community advisory board consisting of the directors of mental health services for the province, as well as representatives of school boards and other community agencies.
