2010/11 Professional Development Series

The Department of Psychology of British Columbia’s Children’s Hospital is pleased to announce the 2010-2011 schedule for the Professional Development Series.

Starting this year, we have revised our Professional Development Series to better meet the needs of the hospital and community.  We continue to focus on increasing professional awareness of theoretical and practice issues. We invite all interested psychologists, mental health professionals, educators and hospital personnel to attend. All seminars are free of charge and no pre-registration is required.

Sessions will be on WEDNESDAYS between 12-1pm in room D308 of Children’s Hospital, Shaughnessy Site, 4480 Oak Street, Vancouver.  Seminars will be held on November 10, 2010; December 8, 2010; March 9, 2011; and April 6, 2010.

Some of these workshops are linked to different sites throughout BC (e.g. hospitals, child development centres). If you are interested in setting up a link with your facility, please contact Sarina Kot at skot@cw.bc.ca.  Please direct other inquiries to the Department of Psychology at 604-875-2147.
