  • Children's is a regional, provincial and national resource centre for respiratory pediatric and neonatal clinical and diagnostic care, often used as an equipment evaluation and reference site. This involves partnerships with manufacturers and other health care facilities.
  • Regional outreach teaching for pediatric airway management to physicians, nurses and respiratory therapists in conjunction with the Ministry of Health.
  • Participation in provincial, national and foreign professional education and regulatory bodies.
  • Participation in many multidisciplinary committees.
