Education
Our educational program supports continuing professional education activities provincially, nationally and internationally; most recently as a part of the hospital’s provincial Telehealth Program.
Fellowship Training Program
There is an Intensive Care Unit Fellowship Training Program offered for Physicians who wish to specialize in pediatric critical care. Established in 1989, this was the first Canadian subspecialty resident program accredited by The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada for training of pediatric critical. It remains fully accredited. The fellowship program lasts one to three years and can be tailored to the interests of the applicants who generally have a background in pediatrics or anesthesia.
Positions are available for starting in July or January.
