Pediatric Oncology Education Module
This website provides basic information about important aspects of pediatric oncology for Health Care Providers (HCPs) and students. The aim of this site is to inspire interest in this important subject and to help educate HCPs to give the best care to children.

Pediatric Brain Tumor
This website provides an overview of the diagnosis, staging and treatment of pediatric tumors. Currently, only the Ependymoma module is available.

Community Education
The Provincial Pediatric Oncology/Hematology Network supports educational workshops in regional communities. Every year, various workshops are conducted in communities such as Prince George, Kelowna, Victoria, Surrey, and others. If there is an interest for such learning opportunities in your area, please contact Paulina Chen, tel (604) 875-2345 ext 7435, email ppchen@cw.c.ca.

Family Practice Preceptorship
BC Cancer Agency operates a Family Practice Oncology Preceptor Program through its Family Practice Oncology Network. The goal is to ensure that all BC communities with a population of 15,000 have at least one family physician with special oncology competence.  Participants receive introductory modules in many aspects of oncology care, including one in pediatric oncology with an option to receive additional mentoring and learning in this specialty.  For more information, visit the Preceptorship page of the BC Cancer Agency website or contact Gail Compton at Tel: 604-675-8106 or email her at gcompton@bccancer.bc.ca.
