Research
The Childhood Cancer Research Program is a combined program of the BC Research Institute for Children's & Women's Health, the Division of Pediatric Oncology/Hematology/BMT of BC Children's Hospital, and the University of British Columbia. There is also close collaboration with the research endeavours of the BC Cancer Agency.
There are three key areas of investigation:
1. Clinical Research:
As a member of the Children's Oncology Group we participate in their Phase II and Phase III trials.
We also participate in National Canadian trials as well as local trials.
2. Immunity, Immune response and Bone Marrow Transplantation
3. Cell Signaling and Genetics
For more information about the ongoing research at BC Children's Hospital, please visit the Children and Family Research Institute
