Diabetes in the news

A listing of these links can be downloaded in PDF format .

There is so much groundbreaking news in diabetes research these days, it's difficult to keep up. We have reformulated this page to include representative links for each major area of research, to give visitors a flavor of what's happening. However, it will never be possible to be all-inclusive. Here are the topics covered on this page:

The easiest way to keep up with type 1 diabetes research is by signing up for the weekly What's New research update on the Children with Diabetes website. You can receive a weekly e-mail newsletter with a number of links. These newsletters include something for everyone, everything from a list of kids looking for penpals, to FAQs and online discussions for parents, to late-breaking clinical and research developments. The entire CWD site is very well edited and up-to-date, and it's our most highly recommended site for children with diabetes, their families, and their health-care providers.

One nice site for kids is called The Search for a Cure, and it can be found on the Kids Online section of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation's website.

Other recommended e-subscription sites—all free!—which provide current diabetes (type 1 and type 2) research information are listed below.
