Nephrology Program
The Nephrology Program delivers full-service state-of-the-art clinical care, along with clinical and basic research into childhood kidney disease. The program provides tertiary-level care in the diagnosis and management of children with acute and chronic renal problems, including congenital and developmental kidney abnormalities, fluid and electrolyte abnormalities, urinary tract infections, hypertension, glomerulonephritis, nephrotic syndrome and renal tubular dysfunction.
With the shifting advances in research and diagnostics, a growing emphasis has been placed on the diagnosis, optimal care, and research into developmental abnormalities of the fetal kidney and its impact on the growing child.
