Spaces and Places

The spots in the hospital teens want to know about:

• Need a place to chill while you wait for your clinic appointment? Check out the Teen Space on the second floor in the Ambulatory Care Building.  It has couches and resources.  Parents and staff can visit as your guests. 
• The Teen Lounge in the Main Hospital is located in the school room on the third floor.  This is a place for people to come together from the many different inpatient areas of the hospital to talk, connect, and just relax.  This is a space you can call your own - teens only!
• The Family Resource Library has books, magazines, and videos for youth and their families. This lending library will send these items anywhere in BC for FREE. It is also on the 2nd floor of the Ambulatory Care Building, right by the Teen Space. 
• Are you a bargain-hunting fashionista or fashionisto? Well BCCH has its very own thrift store, located on the first floor of the ambulatory care building.
• BC Children's also has quite a few coffee shops as well as the Shaugnessy Cafe where you can statisfy your hunger cravings!
