Depending on the time of day, traffic may be heavy so you may want to give yourself a bit of extra driving time. You can park for free in our main parking lot off Slocan Street. A good landmark is our bright orange roof!


From BC Children's Hospital: 7.5 kilometers, 25 - 45 minutes
  • Drive north on Oak Street (towards downtown)
  • Turn right (east) onto King Edward (25th Ave) - drive 4.0 km
  • Turn slight right onto Kingsway - drive 1.3 km
  • Turn left onto Nanaimo Street - drive 1.1 km
  • Turn right onto East 22nd Avenue - drive .5 km
  • Turn left on Slocan Street - Sunny Hill is on the right 

From the east:

  • Drive west on the #1 Trans Canada Highway 
  • Take the Grandview Highway exit (Exit 28A) on right - drive 2.4 km
  • Turn left onto Slocan Street (one stoplight past Renfrew St.) - drive .6 km. Sunny Hill is on the left
From downtown Vancouver:
  • Drive east on Grandview Highway (12th Avenue)
  • Turn right on Slocan Street (one stoplight past Nanaimo Street) - drive .6 km. Sunny Hill is on the left
From Horseshoe Bay ferry terminal: 31 kilometers, 30 minutes
  • Drive 27.4 km east on the #1 Trans Canada Highway
  • Cross the Ironworkers Memorial Bridge
  • Take the Boundary Road Exit (Exit 28 A) on right
  • Turn slight right onto Boundary Road South
  • Turn right onto Grandview Highway - drive 1.9 km
  • Turn left onto Slocan Street - Sunny Hill is on the left

 

From Tsawwassen ferry terminal: 34 kilometers, 37 minutes

  • Drive west on Ferry Ramp/Hwy 17 North
  • Merge onto Route 99 North toward Richmond/Vancouver - drive 8.4 km
  • Take exit 37 to Hwy 91 East toward Delta/Surrey - drive 1.4 km
  • Take the Knight Street exit toward Vancouver - drive 1.2 km
  • Merge onto Knight Street North - drive 5.7 km
  • Turn right onto East 41st Avenue - drive .85 km
  • Turn left onto Victoria Drive - drive .8 km
  • Turn right onto East 33rd Avenue - drive .8 km
  • Continue straight onto Slocan Street - drive 1.4 km - Sunny Hill is on the right
From Vancouver International Airport: 15 kilometers, 30 minutes  
  • Drive south on Grant McConachie Way - 3.8 km
  • Keep left at the fork - follow signs for East Marine Drive
  • Merge onto SW Marine Drive - drive 3.7 km
  • Turn left onto Fraser Street - drive 3.3 km
  • Turn right onto East 33rd Avenue - drive 2.6 km
  • Continue straight onto Slocan Street - drive 1.4 km - Sunny Hill is on the right

 

From the University of British Columbia, Health Sciences Centre: 17 kilometers, 45 - 60 minutes

  • Drive northeast toward Wesbrook Mall
  • Turn right onto Wesbrook Mall - drive 1.1 km
  • At roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto West 16th Avenue - drive 7 km
  • Turn left onto Fir Street - drive .4 km
  • Turn right onto West 12th Avenue - drive 3.2 km
  • Turn slight right onto Kingsway - drive 3.5 km
  • Turn left onto Nanaimo Street - drive 1 km
  • Turn right onto East 22nd Avenue - drive .5 km
  • Turn left onto Slocan Street - Sunny Hill is on the right
