POWER Mobility Toolkit

Development of the POWER Mobility Toolkit

Independent mobility is important for taking part in life activities. More children than ever before are using power mobility to move around and to participate in the things they need and want to do. Although we know power mobility makes a difference in children’s lives, we have little research evidence about this treatment.

What is the purpose of this study?

The purpose of this study is to develop a toolkit of participation assessments (the Paediatric Participation Outcomes for Wheelchair Evaluation in Rehabilitation (POWER) Mobility toolkit) for children 18 months to 12 years of age who use power mobility.

Who are we looking for?
  • Parents of children aged 18 months - 12 years old who use power mobility
  • Therapists who are experienced in the area of power mobility use for children aged 18 months - 12 years old
  • Researchers who specialize in power mobility for children or who investigate the participation of children between the ages of 18 months and 12 years of age

Your opinions will help us better understand and meet the needs
of children who use power mobility
