Inpatient Unit 3R

The 3R Inpatient Unit offers a wide range of services for children from neurosciences and surgery. Children in the inpatient unit have seizures, epilepsy, cranial surgeries, spinal surgeries, head injuries, Guillian-Barre syndrome, Myasthenia Gravis and other rare neurological disorders. We also treat children with brain and spinal cord tumours.

The Burn Program is also situated in this area. Specialists offer expert burn care and pain management for children in the 3R Burn Unit.

We look after children with complex surgical needs. Patients who come to the 3R unit receive postoperative care as they recover from the different surgical services. Services include general surgery, orthopedics, urology, plastic surgery, gynecology, ophthalmology, ENT (ear, nose and throat), dental and cardiothoracic surgery.
