Surgical Day Care
This Surgical Day Care Unit provides pre-operative preparation and post-operative care for up to 50 patients per day, Monday to Friday. Patients range in age from babies to adolescents scheduled to undergo surgical intervention in the operating rooms, dental suite, Radiology or the Endoscopy Clinic. While the majority of patients are treated on a day-care basis, the unit also provides preoperative care for our admit-day-of-surgery patients.
