Carson's letter to Santa

Carson, an eight-year old boy being cared for at BC Children's Hospital, reads a letter to Santa in advance of his visit this month. This is the first time Santa will visit BC Children's since the opening of the Teck Acute Care Centre.

Carson's letter to Santa:

Dear Santa,

I know you and your helpers in the North Pole are busy making toys and getting ready for the holidays, which is why my friends and I are sending this letter to you.

There are lots of kids at BC Children’s who aren’t able to leave the hospital this Christmas, and it would mean so much if you could visit us. You’ll need to know where to find us though, because we’re in a different building than we were in last year.

The Teck Acute Care Centre is big and shiny with colourful windows and everywhere you look there is cool art on the walls that makes us feel better—it’s also right beside the building you came to last year – so you can’t miss it!

If you can make it here, we’ll tell kids in every part of the hospital that you’re coming and gather together with our families to see you.

We believe in miracles and we believe in you, Santa – we hope to see you soon!

Have a safe trip and say hi to your reindeer for us!
P.S. I can’t wait to see you, I have lots of questions for you.

Your friend,
