Sharon is often sought out by nurses and doctors to provide learning support. She has the ability to employ different modes of teaching to adapt to the various learning styles of her students. Sharon is always open to feedback from students so she can improve her teaching techniques. 

Sharon sets the bar high for herself, embraces change and is encouraging to those around her. 

One team member noted: “When Sharon is in the clinic, there is a calm, relaxed atmosphere that is conducive to learning and feeling part of the team."

In celebration of the nursing family at PHSA, poet Julia Pileggi has collected some of their stories and used them as inspiration for a spoken word performance that touches on heart-warming and heartbreaking aspects of nursing.
