We aim to keep neighbours informed of the work being done on site and to minimize disruptions.
Demolition of the main building on the site is scheduled to begin in fall 2023, and will be followed by construction.
We will notify neighbourhood residents of both demolition and construction activities through printed flyers distributed to all residences within a two-block radius of the site, as per City of Vancouver guidelines. You will also be able to sign up for construction updates by email.
We've been asked by the City of Vancouver to submit a rezoning application as a requirement to proceed with the redevelopment of the site. This means that a specific CD-1 bylaw will be written for this site to describe its use for health-care purposes.
The rezoning application was approved at a public hearing on January 19, 2023.
