Our Occupational Therapy department, comprised of over 50  FTE Occupational Therapists and 3 FTE Rehabilitation Assistants, is supported by the Provincial Health Services Authority (PHSA) and works in affiliation with the University of British Columbia’s (UBC) Division of Occupational Therapy. BC Children’s Hospital and PHSA provide a range of fulfilling career paths for Occupational Therapists, with a strong emphasis on learning and advancement. Our positions are full-time and part-time, with standard hours from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Some positions have rotating shift patterns to provide weekend coverage. Occupational Therapy roles require licensure with the College of Health and Care Professionals of British Columbia (CSHBC); upon hiring, employees become Health Sciences Association (HSA) members, and their salary follows HSA contract guidelines. Educational and Research Opportunities
