Mama na Mtoto and Global Affairs Canada have generously supported the Centre for International Child Health to engage Canadians and inform them about global maternal, newborn, and child health (MNCH) initiatives. With the help of many collaborators and colleagues we've created a series of videos about all the amazing global MNCH activities happening at BC Childen's and Women's Hospitals.
Watch the latest videos in our global health series to learn more about how the Centre for International Child Health (CICH) is expanding global health education both at BC Children's Hospital and around the world.
Through educational, clinical and research activities, the CICH aims to prepare health professionals for global careers to reduce inequities in child health. Programs like the Social Child Health Impact Fellowship & Training Program (SCHIFT) and the UBC pediatric residency global health program are educating tomorrow's pediatricians to build future leaders in international health and to provide the best care for all children, locally and globally.
