BC Children's Hospital Family Immunization Clinic currently provides all publicly-funded immunizations at no cost to patients at BC Children’s and BC Women’s and their friends and family visiting the hospital. 

The clinic operates through a combination of drop-in visits and pre-booked appointments that are scheduled with an immunization nurse or physician.  Please see below for more details around walk-in and scheduled appointments. 

Regular clinic hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm

It is best to secure an appointment by booking with one of the clerical staff at 604-875-3000. We recommend this to reduce wait times.


Wa‎lk-in appointments are available in limited capacity and is offered at a first come, first serve basis.


Appointments are available Monday to Friday, 08:30am - 04:30pm. To schedule an appointment, please call 604-875-3000 or email FamilyImmunizationClinic@cw.bc.ca.

  • Patient name
  • PHN
  • DOB‎
  • Type of appointment requested
  • Please have previous vaccine history available to help fast-track your appointment.

‎COVID-19 vaccines are available in the Family Immunization Clinic for BC Children's Hospital patients who are already eligible per the provincial immunization program. Please note that BC Children's Hospital is not a public COVID-19 vaccine site. More information around COVID-19 and the vaccine can be found at the BCCDC website.


If you have patients who are eligible per the provincial guidance, please ask them to contact the Family Immunization Clinic as below to book an appointment if they have not already been vaccinated and wish to do so. They are also welcome to go to one of the public health clinics found here.


Please note that for logistical reasons, patients can only be given a COVID-19 vaccine if they have booked an appointment. We cannot accept drop-ins for COVID-19 immunizations. We will not be able to vaccinate siblings or other family members at this time.
