Stephanie is the Registered Dietitian and the Program Coordinator of the program. She completed the Dietetics program at University of British Columbia in 2014 and completed her internship with Vancouver Coastal Health. She has also recently completed the Masters of Health Administration Program at UBC in 2017. She became interested in the field of dietetics when she started cooking for her family, finding ways to make easy, fast, yet healthy food for everyone. In her spare time, she enjoys (more) cooking, collecting crafts and stationery supplies, and trying to keep plants alive. Recently she also became a beginner runner and snowboarder.

Dr. Lorna Kan is a family physician with a special interest in women's and children's health. She has been with the Shapedown BC Program in Chinese since its inception in 2014. Dr. Kan obtained her Bachelor of Science (BSc.) in Cell Biology, her Medical Doctorate (M.D.), and her Family Medicine training (C.C.F.P.) all from the University of British Columbia. She is also a clinical instructor in the Department of Family Medicine, U.B.C. She is the proud parent of two grown children. In her spare time, Dr. Kan enjoys swimming, long walks, reading, music, and spending time with her family.

Betty is a Registered Clinical Counsellor at the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors. She holds a B.Sc. degree from UBC and a MAMFT degree from TWU. Betty is passionate about helping children, teens, and parents to be the best and heathiest versions of themselves, so that they can have close relationships with one another, and achieve their own personal and family goals. In her spare time, Betty enjoys a variety of activities such as photography, travelling, exercising, reading, drawing and painting, watching movies and anime, and playing board games and video games.
