Long-term Follow-up Clinic Patient and Family Resources
The Long-term Follow-up (LTFU) Clinic provides ongoing surveillance and care of the chronic health issues that are a result of cancer treatment or bone marrow transplantation. Patients are transitioned to the LTFU clinic once the individual is 2 years off treatment.

There are two specialized multidisciplinary clinics combined with other subspecialty services (including endocrinology) for patients who received treatment for brain tumours or underwent a bone marrow transplantation.

The Long-term Follow-up Clinic offers outreach clinics in the following locations:
- Comox
- Kelowna
- Kamloops
- Prince George
The oncology team has developed disease-specific long-term follow-up (LTFU) guidelines to guide the surveillance and care provided. The team may modify these guidelines individually to provide the best care for each individual patient.
- In partnership with BC Cancer, a Late Effects, Assessment and Follow-up (LEAF) Clinic was established in July 2016 for adults who have survived childhood cancer. Please visit the LEAF clinic web page on the BC Cancer website for further information
