The therapist will work with you to link you to community recreation and leisure opportunities and resources.
The focus of this appointment is to explore different types of equipment, activities and ways of supporting, encouraging and playing with your child in the water. The therapist may also suggest certain swimming activities, services and/or resources in your home community.
Sometimes our therapists come to your community to provide services (outreach). We may also offer education on how to use adapted equipment, and how your child can be more involved in community activities and school activities such as physical education classes.
The music therapist is available to recreation therapists and other team members to provide general music therapy information and community resources.
