Virtual Health is a patient-centered care model focused on connecting patients, families and providers, through the use of technology to promote wellness, specialty care and improved outcomes.
Sunny Hill Health Centre is pleased to offer patients and families the opportunity to attend some appointments virtually. In a virtual health visit you are able to see, hear and speak to your health care providers in the same way as an in-person visit, using technology.
If you would like to participate, please follow these instructions:

If you choose virtual health as a visit option, we will email you a meeting invitation titled
Sunny Hill Virtual Health Appointment from shhc_virtualhealth@cw.bc.ca Time and Date.

The quick tips will guide you to download Skype for Business for free from the App Store if you use a smartphone or tablet.
If you use your laptop or desktop computer, you may simply click on Try Skype Web App in the meeting invitation to have the Skype for Business web app installed on your browser.
You do NOT need a Skype for Business account. You do NOT need to sign in as you will join as a guest.
If you have technical difficulty joining the meeting, please call the Sunny Hill Virtual Health coordinator to switch to a telephone consult with your provider. At the time of your appointment, your provider will call you if you don't arrive in the virtual lobby after ten minutes.
