Pediatric Oncology & Hematology Education Day

The Provincial Pediatric Oncology Hematology Network, in conjunction with the Division of Pediatric Oncology Hematology BMT, BC Children's Hospital, is committed to providing ongoing education and discussion opportunities to support physicians and healthcare providers in the care of the child/adolescent with cancer and hematological disorders. This Education Day has been developed to reflect the needs of these physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals. There will be opportunities for dialogue, discussion, and Q&A throughout the program.

Our next education day is on Nov 19th, 2021.

We are going virtual this year! This bi-annual educational day is committed to providing ongoing education and discussion opportunities to support physicians and healthcare providers in the care of the child/adolescent with cancer and hematological disorders.  Topics are carefully selected to reflect the needs of physicians and multidisciplinary health care professionals.

Can't join us live on November 19th? All lectures will be recorded and available to watch on-demand for up to 3 months after the event.

Conference Theme: Flexible in the Face of Change
Flexibility is an essential part of resilience. By learning how to be more adaptable, we can become better equipped to respond to change and adversity. Each change affects people differently, bringing a unique flood of thoughts, strong emotions, and uncertainty. While some may be crushed by abrupt changes, those who are highly resilient are able to adapt and thrive. When we accept there is no such thing as forever, and that everything changes, we start to bend not break.
